Please Enjoy A Little Back Story..

I’ve been wearing this t-shirt above a lot over the past year, and it became a conversion piece every time I wear it. This shirt was gifted to me about a year ago; it’s from a Costco Warehouse in Hawaii celebrating its 30-year anniversary; this happens to be the Costco my brother Johnny got hired at in 1996. Johnny worked at Costco his entire life, first in Hawaii Kai, then in Corona, California, totaling 25 years.

This brings us to our latest Passions Just Like Mine Project. We decided to recreate a few designs based around Costco locations where our friends and family shop. Each shirt features a store number from real Costco locations. The shirt also includes a landmark from each city that may not be oblivious to all, kinda like "if you know, you know." The shirts are designed to be simple and tie back to the original Hawaii Kai Anniversary tee.

Now the real cool part; Proceeds from each shirt sold will be used to cater lunch for some doctors and staff at City of Hope, where my brother was treated last. I can't help but think of him and consider what he would want to do for this project. It would make me super happy to return to City of Hope and provide lunch for some staff members.
